The only items allowed inside the vehicle, if not built-in, when shipping using roll on/roll off rates are a spare tire and a jack. Any and all items loaded in vehicles using this method of shipment (excluding spare tire and jack) may be confiscated by customs and are not insurable. Vehicles less than 10 years old may be insured loss/theft only or all-risk. Vehicles over 10 years old may be insured total loss/theft only. Antique vehicles may be insured all-risk only when preinspected by insurance surveyor at request of shipper. Antique cars should be shipped in full containers whenever possible for added security (see below).
